Getting Started... To start with, you are faced with a home page that gives you the top 10 chart and budget CDs and loads of links to various other sections. There is also a search box where you can type in the artist you are looking for and it will come up with everything available by that artist, including many imports. Their selection is huge, which includes loads of popular CDs for just £5.99 which I tend to buy a lot from. If the title you are after is unavailable there is a list of links to other sellers that may have the item, I have never used this feature though so cannot comment on it. Purchasing When you want to purchase an item, click on the title you want (sometimes the tracklisting is available and sometimes not, probably ~65% of the time it does have tracklistings) and it can then be put in your shopping basket. Then you continue to the checkout where you buy the items. Very simple indeed. Information Needed They need: your shipping address, email address and also your credit card details (you can pay by cheque or by Paypal also, which is useful). Postage is very reasonable at £1 for the first CD and 25p for each subsequent one, up to £4 maximum. Other Information They have a bargain basement where you can find CDs, Vinyls etc that only have a few copies left. These are quite good value aswell. They are not the quickest for delivery. Delivery times are normally within a week and imports they have all arrived within 10 days maximum. They have a wide variety of stock though which I guess compensates for the delivery times. They are not the cheapest on a lot of items but most chart CDs are £9.98 including postage and their £5.99 range is really good. They also sell computer games and books which is just the same quality as when ordering CDs. Still not that quick at delivering, but really good value. Overall, bar their delivery times - which I really hope improve - they are a good retailer for CDs scoring reasonably well on both price and choice, as well as flexibility. Olly |
