I've had a couple of problems with HMV orders not going through before without me calling them to query the status of my order. However whenever I have called or emailed their customer services, they have been very helpful & solved the issue. They also have the odd gem -- their weekly 'best buys' are often cheaper than anywhere else, so for this reason they get a thumbs up from me.

I've been using magazine subscription sites even before I discovered you could get cashback for buying them as they offer massive saving in comparison with high street prices. This merchant consistently pays out, they offer a great rate of cashback especially as some subscriptions are only £1 for 3 issues -- and if you don't want to continue your subscription after the £1 offer, it is very easy to cancel the direct debit if you use internet banking. Definitely worth a look.

Ebay is the biggest online auction site in the world... I have been a member for over four years now and buy a heap of items every month - I love it, despite having had a couple of problems in the past with dodgy seller (though out of 2000 transactions, I'd say I've had problems with no more than 5 purchases). Great site for a bargain, and even better you get a percentage of ebay's commission back if you win an auction!

Kelkoo is definitely one of the better price comparison web sites. Just key in the item you're looking for and it will find you the cheapest price on the web - simple! Or you can choose to search through one of the many different categories listed on their homepage. Obviously it doesn't contain all the retailers on the web but there are a fair few for you to choose from.

I used to always buy my vitamins and other health purchases from a well-known high street retailer (I won't mention names), but was tempted to shop with Healthy Direct a few months ago as I was lured in by its attractive high cashback rate. Well, I'm glad I did as I was very impressed! Their service is impeccable, delivery is speedy and free on orders over £10, and prices are unbeatable - even more so after you receive your cashback! I doubt you'll find a better retailer online or offline - I certainly haven't looked back.

Their customer service is second to none, their delivery is usually very fast, and 9 times out of 10 their prices are cheapest of all the online retailers. I really recommend this site and the cashback is as added bonus! =)
